One visit to our room and you will see that our classroom centers around hands-on activities to promote academic and character growth. Our classroom environment and focus changes with each student's needs and abilities. It is our hope that through a highly engaging atmosphere, all students will find joy in their educational growth.
Ms. Brown has been teaching Special Education in BCISD for 9 years. She was VFW Teacher of the year (2010), BCISD Top Cat, Linnie Roberts Teacher of the Year (2013), and is currently BCISD Teacher of the Year.
Mrs. Mejias has been an instructional aide in BCISD for 8 years and has been teamed with Ms. Brown for each of those years. Mrs. Mejias works hard each day to help each kid achieve their goals!
